4 Maintenance

4.1 General

No routine maintenance is required to be performed on the instrument. Units may be purged with

clean,dryinertgas.TheMASS‐VIEW

isdesignedinsuchawaythatforachangeintherangeorgas,

yousimplyselectanotheravailablerangeorgasinthemenu.



Incaseofseverecontaminationitmayberequiredtocleantheinsideoftheinstrument.Aftercleaning

arecalibrationisneeded.Bronkhorst

High‐TechB.V.hasatrainedstaffofservicemenavailable.Contact

MassFlowONLINEB.V.forcleaningandrecalibrationoptions.



Iftheequipmentisnotproperlyserviced,seriouspersonalinjuryand/ordamagetotheequipment

couldbetheresult.Itisthereforeimportantthatservicingisperformedbytrainedandqualifiedservice

personnel.



4.2 Needle valves

CAUTION:Pressuresurges,asmayoccurduringsystempressurisationordeflationmustbeavoided.



Excessiveforceusedtoachievepositiveshut‐offcandeformorscorethesealingsurfaceinthevalve.


